From a young age, I have been drawn to public service…
As a young adult growing up in the Seattle area, I found myself getting involved with projects and a career path that would allow me to serve my community and country. At 18 after obtaining my Associate’s degree I enlisted in the Washington Army National Guard. From there, I was accepted to Washington State University and began working towards my Bachelor’s degree in political science.
I lived, worked, and studied in Pullman, WA for a little over three years. In that time I was heavily involved with local politics by working with the Whitman County Democrats to flip the city council and local school board from Republican to a Democratic majority in 2017. From that experience, I met Jenn Goulet who was running for the Washington State House District 9. I worked for her in my first campaign staff position conducting field operations and data management.
After the 2018 elections, I moved back to Seattle and worked in sales for Graybar, and focused on my military career. I excelled in a sales environment but I found that there was something missing…
Like many people, I lost my job during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. I was fortunate enough to have been a soldier in the National Guard. At this point, I was a Chemical, Biological, Nuclear, and Radiological Specialist, and my unit was activated on active duty orders to establish mobile testing sites across the state of Washington. We partnered with the Quinault Nation and the Yakima County Health Authority to test their residents. Our work helped to develop standard operating procedures for the implementation of mobile testing sites around the country.

After my stint on active duty, I accepted a position working as a field organizer for Amy McGrath for Senate working in rural Appalachia. I only worked there through the primary when I moved back to Seattle to work for Dr. Kim Schrier for her re-election campaign. These campaigns helped me to hone my skills in organizing and managing campaigns virtually. My fellow organizers and I unionized with the IBEW Local 89 becoming the only congressional campaign in Washington to do so.
After the 2020 elections wound to a close. I worked as a finance consultant for the Progressive Action Fund (PAF) where raised over $400,000 and ran negative accountability ads against Senator Loeffler and Senator Perdue for the 2021 Georgia runoff elections. Our viral ad can be found here. After PAF I worked with Break Blue Strategies to develop business and generate new clientele for the company. I had the privilege to work with candidates and organizations from across the country from school boards up to US Congress.
In October of 2021, I began working for DocuSign on their Market Development team to develop partnerships with major educational institutions and non-profit organizations. While on the team I developed email messaging, conducted cold calls, and built upon my leadership skills by contributing to the Veteran’s Resource Group and my department’s prospecting committee.
Beginning in the Spring of 2023 I began working for a learning management system company called Skilljar where I currently work as an Outbound Sales Development Representative.
